N.Korea tests railway-borne missile in latest launch amid rising tension with U.S

According to South Korea’s military, North Korea has conducted its third suspected weapons test of the year on Friday, firing an “unidentified projectile” from its east coast.

This comes hours after the US Treasury Department announced sanctions on eight North Korean and Russian individuals and entities for supporting North Korea’s ballistic missile programs.
